Applicability
This Seller Agreement applies when you sell tickets or related offerings through the Open Gate Tickets Platform, including as an event organizer or authorized representative of an event producer.
By enabling ticket sales, connecting a payment account, or completing sales through the Platform, you agree to this Seller Agreement in addition to our Terms of Service and any organizer-specific terms.
Seller responsibilities
You are the seller of record for your ticket sales unless otherwise agreed in writing. You are responsible for accurate event details, pricing, inventory, delivery of tickets or entry credentials, customer communications, and compliance with consumer protection, tax, and licensing laws.
You must honor the refund policy you publish at checkout and respond promptly to buyer inquiries regarding orders, event changes, and access issues.
Payments and Stripe Connect
Ticket payments are processed through Stripe Connect. You must complete Stripe onboarding, maintain an account in good standing, and comply with Stripe's terms and verification requirements.
Payout timing and reserve policies are determined by Stripe and applicable law. Open Gate may deduct disclosed platform fees from transactions as authorized during checkout.
Taxes
You are responsible for determining and remitting applicable taxes related to your ticket sales, except where tax calculation and collection are performed through integrated services shown at checkout.
You must provide accurate event location information so sales tax can be calculated correctly where supported.
Chargebacks and disputes
You are responsible for chargebacks, disputes, and refunds related to your sales, subject to your published refund policy and applicable law. You agree to provide supporting documentation when disputes arise.
Termination
We may suspend selling privileges for policy violations, legal risk, excessive disputes, or non-compliance with payment partner requirements. You may stop selling at any time, subject to fulfillment obligations for existing orders.
